Dear Members & Prospective Members,
We would like to welcome you to our new website, the online home of Bath Finance & Investment Society, better known as BFIS. As the ONLY finance society at the University of Bath we are proud to offer you an ever expanding list of events and opportunities, ranging from trading games and career advice workshops, through to networking opportunities and the renowned socials.
Whether you have secured a career in the financial services industry or are just curious about the world of finance and want to learn more, we look forward to meeting you at one of our exciting events soon. As a society, we aim to develop our members' knowledge and awareness of the careers, opportunities and workings of the financial services industry and ultimately laying the foundations to a future career in finance. Furthermore, we seek to dispel the common myth, that investments and investing are the preserve of multinational organisations and high net worth individuals: Anyone,including you, can invest!
